If you haven't been to the Getty Villa, it's beautiful! It's modeled after an ancient Roman villa and it houses antiquities, which I absolutely love! The Getty Villa is a recreation of the Villa dei Papiri at Herculaneum, and which is believed it belonged to Julius Caesar's father in law. Almost everything outdoors is replicas to recreate life style of wealthy ancient people through art, jewels, gardens, orchard, fountains, and the pools.
I don't expect to be in group at all time, unless we are taking one of the tours same time, but we may meet at 10:15 am at the Amphitheatre, and start at 10:30 am.
If you are going to the Getty, PLEASE make sure to let me know for sure, because we need to make admission reservations. I need to know whether I would need to make more reservations. Admission to the Getty Villa is always FREE; an advance, timed-entry ticket is required. Parking is $15.
