Excellent. We had a docent tour, led by a very knowledgeable man who knew history of many trees and plants, where they came from, such as Australia and Asia. The rhododendrons were beautiful. A couple of people from Ocean Beach Buddies joined us. Also there were some tourists on the tour.

remember to have proof of residency for free admission:
driver's license or photo ID +utility bill.
also, the new membership programs have great benefits like
members-only events, discounts, and preview plant sales,
and helps fund youth education programs, and care and maintenance
    of the plant collections.

You can go on weekend with friend(s). I put it on weekday to fit in with my bi-weekly short walks around Land's End, but this one is special.

It's still free for SF county residents with proof of residency.
I recently got hired there, and will be working there that day!
