Historic Fort Wayne host a variety of events throughout the years and I've been wanting to check it out.
This particular weekend we will see Camp life and re-enactors.
The entrance cost is $3. Secured on-site parking is $5. We can carpool down for this event. They offer guided tours for $5 for those of us that are interested.
For more information about the history of the fort go to http://www.historicfortwaynecoalition.com/index.html
I imagine we will probably spend at least 3 or 4 hours there if we do a guided tour.
I researched restaurants in the area and found Mexican town is just a few minutes away so let's get some Margaritas and Mexican Food afterwards. Let's go to the Mexican Town Restaurant home of the original flaming fajita and handmade tamales. We have a pretty large group so I'm going to try to see if they take reservations. Please make sure your rsvp is up to date.
*** PLEASE NOTE NOON IS THE EVENT START TIME. WE WILL MEET EARLIER TO CARPOOL. AND BE DOWN THERE BY NOON.
HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!!
