The Workhouse Arts Center will present two concerts starting at 7pm and then a patriotic fireworks show at 9pm! Bring your 2-legged adult family members (that means no dogs, cats, young children, teens), adult friends, blankets, picnic basketS and lawn chairs and come listen to the music then watch as the colors light up the sky!
You can also see 360 Degrees of Post-Traumatic Stress a military art exhibition in the Vulcan Gallery which will remain open until 8:30pm.
The two free summer outdoor concerts in the Rizer Pavilion are: the Mount Vernon Nights Concert Series featuring Bluegrass band Frank Solivan and the Dirty Kitchen at 7pm and the City of Fairfax Band Swing Ensemble at 8pm, and last but not least, enjoy the Fireworks display at 9pm(dusk)!
You can also purchase food and snacks from the vendors that will be onsite: Uncle Fred's Smoke Shack, Kettle Corn Guy and Paradise Ice Cream. There will also be a variety of festival merchandise such as glow sticks for sale from vendors onsite.
