Appetizer/Salad: Ensalada de Palmitos de Primavera served with Argentine Chimichurri Bread: (A spicy bread with lots of herbs and tons of flavor)

Wine: Michael Torino (Cuma) Torrontes (White)

Tasting Notes: Dry with medium plus acidity, medium body, crisp on palate with notes of tropical fruits like melange of lemon, cantaloupe, grapefruit, pineapple, hint of banana, rose petal and black pepper.

Country (and Region) Represented: Chile, Coquimbo

Main Course: Pollo Arvejado (Chicken stewed with peas and carrots in white wine and chicken broth and served with potatoes.

Wine: Falernia Pedro Zimenez (White)

Tasting Notes: Riesling like notes of petrol and citrus. Simple and refresing summer sipper. Great acidity. Melon on the mid palate with medium finish. Good body.

Country (and Region) Represented: Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul

Main Course: Feijoada - Brazilian black beans with smoked meats served with Farofa (toasted casava flower fried in butter) . Picanha (tri-tip meat roasted over an open flame) and served with brazilian rice.

Wine: Rio Sol (Red)

Tasting Notes: In the glass, purple colouration, with edges tending to ruby, with little transparency and good training of tears. Great red fruit aromas and very discreet wood, giving the wine elegance, without hype "vanillic".

Country Represented: Uruguay, Uruaguay

Dessert: Gingerbread Roulade with Dulce de leche cream filling

Wine: Las Brujas (Red)

Tasting Notes: Pretty big aroma with dark fruit and oak. A tense taste with small tannines that make it fresh. Charasteristically, raspberry aromas, a fair amount of astringency.

W e look forward to seeing everyone on Friday Evening, July 29th, at 8:00 p.m., at Colum bus Grill.

Thank you.
