We are heading down to Henley Regatta to have a lovely day by the river, to watch the races, have a few drinks, look at the stalls and maybe have a picnic. The first race starts at 10:00, however if you wanted to arrive later that is fine to do so. There are fireworks in the evening.
We don't need tickets to do this, please see map below cross the bridge and turn left and the area is unreserved until the Regatta area numbered 18.
Information for Spectators
Henley Royal Regatta is undoubtedly the best known regatta in the world and it holds a unique place in the respect and affection of all oarsmen – both active and retired. Founded in 1839, it is famous both as a great sporting occasion and as a social event. People come from all over the world to attend, either as competitors or as spectators.
Henley Royal Regatta 2013 is being held from Wednesday 3rd July to Sunday 7th July.
