new year to you and your family/organization. As you know, people with
disabilities in Liberia have no support services so they go
without food, shelter, clothing, medical and other basic necessities of
life like tooth paste, bath soap, tooth brush, body cream, etc. While all of us
are susceptible to hard times, people with mental disability, the blind, the
crippled, the sick and the elderly are at the most risk in Liberia, and they
make up the largest number of clients we serve in Liberia.
With your generous
support/donation in 2013, we were abled as a new charity to save the life of an 8yr old
Liberian child who was borne with hernia for which reason his father and mother
abandoned him. He was successfully operated upon at Phebe hospital in Gbanga,
Bong County Liberia in December of this year through the generousity of Rev
Kenety Gee and his medical team.
Your generous support also enabled
us to host the first holiday party for disables in Liberia which included food
to eat, dancing, singing etc. We also used the first holiday disabled party to
launch our first relief distribution of clothing, foot wears, hats, socks, bags
etc to disables in Liberia on Saturday December 28, 2013 from 11am to 3pm at
the UHP Evangelical Lutheran Church located at JJY-Gardnersville Monrovia
Liberia to the disables in Liberia. All
of these would not have been possible without
your generousity in 2013. With
your support in 2014, we will be able to help many of these disables and
individuals to meet essential daily needs like providing them with food, housing,
visits to hospitals, wearings, care takers and hygiene products to put them
toward a brighter future
continue your generous giving in new/used
items, wheelchairs,food,walkers,canes, money
for rent,medical visits, support services,
building materials to build their own homes
to be called 'Able City"
etc. We gladly accept small and large donation.
We can pick up from where in the World using
Fedex.For more information on how
your donation is helping to make a difference in the lives of so many disables
in Africa and in our
communities, we invite you to visit our website at www.tambasonsglobalhumanservices.org
