Gaming On The Menu

***NOTE THE NEW LOCATION. RIP Happy Donuts.***

Now that Happy Donuts has closed its doors, we need to find a new home for our Wednesday gaming night.  The Menu, an Indian restaurant just down the road owned by one of our members, has offered to let us use one of their banquet rooms.  Unlike Happy Donuts, The Menu actually closes, so we can only play until 11.

As before, don't forget to support your gaming-friendly site with purchases from bar or menu.  Mmmm, mango lassi!

If you have some games that you would like to bring, please do, and also mention them in your reply. If you have a game box that is developing a nice layer of dust, feel free to bring it along (minus the dust).

See you then!

I absolutely LOVED the new venue. A/C, no homeless people, no fighting over tables with school-age kids or college study groups. Better food, and a full bar. Perfection for board games in my mind! Thank you for hosting us, Raj Meka!

I stopped by the Happy Donuts in Redwood City today to make sure they are ok with a big group of us over to play board games. They said its fine as long as we buy food and such and make room for other customers. I did want to mention though they don't have the same long tables as in Palo Alto. Instead there's 13 two seater tables, so we'd have to push them together.

I checked it out, too. The tables are fixed to the floor, so we can't move them. We're going to give this other venue a try to see how it works out; it we don't like the fact that we have to stop at 11:00 we can try another place.
