Neal Brennan @ The Hollywood Theatre

Neal Brennan is a writer, director, and comedian. He is the co-creator of “Chappelle’s Show,” for which he received three Emmy nominations. (Winning None!)

He co-wrote the film “Half Baked,” and directed the film, “The Goods,” starring Jeremy Piven, Ed Helms, Ken Jeong and Will Ferrell. He also collaborates regularly with Seth Meyers, writing and directing the ESPYs and The White House Correspondents Dinner. The podcast Neal co-hosts, “The Champs” is routinely on the iTunes charts and has been downloaded over 1.3 million times. As of this writing, Brennan has 180,000 followers on twitter and has been named by Time magazine and Rolling Stone, “One of the Funniest People on Twitter.”

Neal recently directed an episode of “New Girl” on Fox and is scheduled to direct Amy Schumer’s new show on Comedy Central. He is also developing a sitcom for himself to star in for the Fox network. Stand up-wise, Brennan regularly tours the good venues in the good parts of America, has had his own ½ Hour on Comedy Central and has appeared on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” “Conan,” “Just For Laughs” and “Lopez Tonight.”

He does see Dave every once in a while. Dave is fine.

How about we meet at Columbia Brewing? I'll be there between 6 and 6:30. Looking forward to some good comedy tonight!

oops, I hit send by accident! I think I'm not going to make it. I bought a ticket but have been feeling kind of blah today and now I think it's morphing into something flu like. I thought I had escaped the flu that's circulating around my students but maybe not. I'm going to drink copious amounts of tea and see what happens. Ugh....was really looking forward to this.

Just so everyone knows, this is not a group hosted event, but rather a suggested Meetup. I will not be in attendance hosting as Organizer. Also, I don't see a cost/price on this listing, nor do I see ticket information. Please update with this information for those that have RSVPed, or interested parties. Thank You.

Mark, I still have to get my ticket and I'm going to do it online. You can either print it out or use your smartphone to show you bought one.

Tracey, thanks. I'll do that if I am able to make it tonight. I am headed out of town this coming weekend . If I am not able to make it tonight, I'll get together with you all in the new year. It will be great to hang with you guys and watch some comedy shows.

Does anyone want to meet up before hand and grab a drink somewhere close? We could meet around 6/6:30. Not sure where.
