QS Co-Laboratory

Join us for the "free swim" of PDX Quantified Self meetings!

Work and talk in a space with other QSers.  If you've got a pile of data you've been meaning to get to but just haven't devoted a block of time to it, bring it to the Co-Lab.  Other data-interested people will be there for you to share with, get inspired by, and to get help from.

Wank to talk about QS-related ideas? Drop by for a chat, and maybe start or join a QS-related project.

Thinking of presenting something at our bi-monthly Show and Tell?  Hone your presentation during this time, bounce ideas off of people, and get early feedback and encouragement.

We do a round of intros at the beginning to find out what people are interested in doing/talking about, and then people are free to break up, gather together, work, talk, and see what other people are working on.

See you there!

It was good to meet everyone the other night. Thanks for having me. I'd love to sit and chat with a small group (like 2-4 people) and give a quick informal presentation of my thesis research and solicit feedback and insights from 'trackers' like yourselves, if anyone would be interested. Please email me if you'd be willing and I'll give you more information about my project. Thanks! [masked]

Well that was a totally fun and freewheeling discussion. I look forward to more such interaction in the future, even under new approaches.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
