It's generally a very friendly group, & it's fun, as I said, to get together with other knitters (people who don't think you're crazy if you talk constantly about your craft) and who can give helpful advice or express sympathy when things go wrong. Twisted is a nice place to meet (fairly centrally located & easy to get to on the bus, for non-drivers) & the "tea & cookies" aspect is also nice!

Welcome to the Seattle NorthEnd Knitters, Joanne! Sock Summit 2009 was sock-tastic! And there are several of us already planning for 2011 in Portland. Hope you join us on the train going there. We turn it into a mini-Yarn Train trip! :)
