Do you already use Airbnb, Spinlister, The Tool Library, Getaround, Nextdoor, Uber, Couchsurfing, Task Rabbit, Bitcoin, Ayoopa or other shared services? Or have you heard snippets of this "shared economy thing" and want to know if there is really something to it? Do you love it, hate it or question it?
Would you like to learn and share creative ways to earn extra income, save money, and help others do the same using the things that you already own? If so, join our group to meet others using the "shared/ rental economy." There are literally dozens of new companies starting up each month, not to mention changing their names or shutting down, but it's hard to know which ones are worth trying.
By meeting together, we can share the ones we like get answers to our questions, and make new friends with a common interest. No matter if you've been Couchsurfing since 2007 or just learned the term "Shared Economy" today, you are an early adopter, because this is just the beginning. We will have a happy hour meetup each month, hopefully sponsored by one of the many awesome companies out there.
I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
