EG Historical Society

Epic games often do a great job of knowing their roots...

The EG (Epic Gamers) Historical Society is devoted to those games based on actual people, civilizations, or time periods. Let's have fun building one of the Seven Wonders, hoarding all the wheat, arguing the finer points of the U.S. Constitution, or trying to gain the favor of the gods!

We'll mention in the comments the game(s) we plan to bring. You are more than welcome to bring history-based games of your own. We never turn down the opportunity to play new games!

How late do these run? Would it be stupid to try showing up at this point?

Sorry Geoff but we have an emergency at work and I'm not going to be able to make it tonight. I'll catch you next time.

Ugh, hate to do this, but I've been called into work again. Have fun, though!

I'm almost certain to be a newbie, but I hope that's cool :)

Hi Michael - We played Arkham Horror a while ago. Newbies are welcome. Bryan, be sure to keep Geoff in check. Geoff, make sure Bryan is not betraying the human race... Have fun!

Sure, we played Arkham Horror, but I've never played Tribune or Found Fathers or the like.

Has anyone picked a game (or games) yet? I'd like to read up on the rules beforehand.

I'll be bringing Tribune (with expansion to allow 6 players) and Founding Fathers, two games with significant player interaction.
