Urban development makes for a surprisingly fun game in Suburbia. Players compete to create the most prosperous city, though the definition of prosperity depends on what strategy each pursues.
By playing the right tiles, a player can create a quiet suburban paradise, a high-tech commercial center, a churning industrial powerhouse, or a culturally sophisticated metropolis. Each strategy can lead to victory with the right agenda.
Of course, resources must be managed (this is a Eurogame, after all); money reserves, income, reputation and population mustn't fall too fast or grow too quickly. Public and private goals make for tense competition between players. In the end, whoever has the highest population will be crowned the winner.
Update: opening up to a second table using Matt's copy. Four chairs x 2!
