Only recently transplanted into a gaming family. You could say I have some experience to gain...
Arkham Horror and, generally, card games based on classic board games ("Sorry Revenge," "Monopoly Deal," stuff like that). I'm sure there's more EPIC stuff I'm forgetting, but aside from one game of HeroQuest, there's not much worth mentioning.
A great many that I've browsed on Fantasy Flight's website. Wahoo, they've got a selection.
Depends on the amount of people. By myself, I'll play a single game one half-hour at a time in intervals over a day or two. Two to three people, I can sit still for a couple hours. Four or more, I generally get hooked in and don't want to stop for at least 4 hours.
Unknown as of yet. I've only been to Guardian Games as far as gaming venues, and that was rather cool. I just get the feeling that I'd rather meet some cool people and formulate a circle of gaming friends to play in a home setting.
