Join us for a Sunday lunch and farewell ride for member Jim who is moving out of state soon.

We leave Santa Fe at 10:30am from APPLEBEES at the Santa Fe Place Mall and ride hywy 14 south to meetup with Jim and others at Einstein's Bagels on Central Ave and TRAMWAY at 11:30am (in Four Hills shopping center) Then down 337 to Estancia's BLUE RIBBON saloon. Eating approx. 1:00pm. Rt.337 is like hywy 14 south with great curves and moderate hills. Been to the BLUE RIBBON many times and they have a good burger plate and drink for $7.00. Should be back in Abq by 3pm and Santa Fe by 4-4:30.

As usual, come gassed up, tires aired up and layers /rain/gear/ etc. Our usual pace is 'Quick' but not crazy so please keep up. We don't slow down to match the slowest rider.

Of course weather is the final factor and I will post any cancellation a day or so before the ride.

I had a good time meeting some new riders if only briefly at the meetup. Despite the mid-March weather it turned out to be a good ride to Madrid for lunch. Sun came out for return trips and not too windy. Good to send James off to Denver with a HUGE corned beef platter that even HE couldn't finish. Thx Ted for the tip on the eatery, will be back for sure. Photos to follow.

Sorry I gotta bail on this ride. I'm trying out for a new band at noon, plus it looks like it'll be windy.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
