Hi WC, I just saw your comment on this thread. How is your sauerkraut coming along?

Good question. It really doesn't look like it's done anything. Doesn't appear to be rotting, so that's a good sign. I guess I should taste it. From what I read, the good bacteria crowd out the bad. 1 more note, 2 or the 3 jars were mixed with a little bit of a 'kraut I had gotten mail order.

The 1st jar is good! I've been eating some for the last few day. I haven't tried the others yet.

Sorry. I guess I didn't communicate very well. It was postponed. I'll post the new date soon.

Hi Kirk, the event was canceled Tuesday. I get weather briefings at work and they all said the roads would be terrible. Hopefully we can reschedule soon.

Ok, thanks. Better to stay off the roads.

I am so happy you are doing fermentation since I discovered how fermented foods helps to rebuild the good bacteria destroyed by antibiotics.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
