Montana Mountain

Montana Mountain is described as an easy, scenic trail 30 miles long with elevation change from 2,124 to 5,387 feet (Wells 2nd Edition #56). We will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the ADOT Rest Area in Superior, departing for the trail around 9:15.

    Steve and Paul. I will be operating on our normal trail frequency, 147.520. I would like to see if we can make mountaintop simplex contact. Will probably be mountaintop by 11. I will also be monitoring Pinal peak via the Mt Lemmon linked repeater. Pinal peak is out by Globe and has excellent East Valley coverage. If you feel so inclined to program your radios here is the Pinal peak information: [masked], minus offset, 141.3 Hz tone. Hope to hear you on the air tomorrow.
