seed swap

OK guys, looks like spring is finally here, and so are some of the heirloom seeds I ordered, so time to start swapping!

I've got Black Krim tomatoes, a couple of types of cherry toms, 2 kinds of weird purple/red carrots and other good stuff...

Please feel free to drop by and exchange seeds - I'm also seriously looking for a gardening partner, I've got like 3/4 of an acre city garden plot with possibilities for aquaponics - if anyone is interested we can go and check out the garden.

I've also got several large planting containers full of dirt, if anyone wants those.

I know this is kind of short notice, we can do more than one swap, or if anyone has/needs seeds just contact me and maybe we can arrange something for another time.

Hope to see you all there!

And I went to the New Wilmington Auction, LOL. How did things go? If anyone needs seeds. We will be making a final list and placing orders, and buying soon.

I know from talking to different people from time to time, that some are looking garden dirt. We have a huge pile of old garden dirt, if you looking for nice dirt.

I suggest a seed trade, picnic. I have some basil seed, cucumber, green bean,
tomato seed that I saved. And I got a bunch of seed packs that are a few years
old. Gave tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers to a church food bank 3× last
year and am expanding the garden this year. More peppers and cucumbers
this year. I get seedlings at the urban gardener. The container garden is 15 5
gallon buckets and the garden will be seeded in mid April.

I have no seeds to share, but would like to attend and meet others in the area interested in prepping. I have only just begun.

I use two seed companies dedicated to heirloom seeds. Annie's Seeds and Bountiful Gardens. I attempt to save all my seed. However, I find the bi-annuals difficult.

exchanging seeds is great, but traveling an hour to get there isn't very practical. Need more reason to come.Thanks.

Ive seen the HeirloomKits sold for storage- wasnt sure about using these to start next seasons plants. I think heirloom variety seeds are sold commercially- along with the usual stuff. Making that change was my goal for this season. Along with that, learning how to save & preserve seeds year to year...

Sounds like ProfessorDave may have 3 new students?

Same position as Jason- garden was barely "adequate" this year and I havent made the jump to "GOOD" plants yet... Eager to learn more & share what I know!

I like the idea - I've got some seeds to trade...and have a line on sunchoke tubers that apparently grow like crazy around here if anyone wants in.
