Hi all - Organizer Josh Wander has uploaded the episode of his Prepper Report TV show where he interviews me to youtube - at the risk of blowing my own horn IMHO it turned out very well!
No 'doomsday prepper' get-you-to-talk-for-an-hour-and-use-2-minutes-to-make-you-look-crazy here! Thanks Josh :)

Other episodes to follow I believe.
Also, I just came across a wonderful resource on Ferfal's blog (he survived the Argentinian currency collapse of 2001 - great blog, if more than a little scary) where he links to 196 free downloads on all topics, military manuals, food storage, backwoods medicine, you name it. Everyone should really consider downloading these (in case Internet goes bye bye) and printing them out (in case electric grid goes down). You could store these on a tablet (low electricity consumption and light for bugout bag) or an old laptop that you could then put inside a Faraday cage for that extra layer of security.
I'm working on zipping these up for the "files" area of the meetup for easy retrieval.

In signing off, I'd like to share with you guys one thing that helps to keep me motivated...every day I try to ask my self:
"What did you do to prep today?"
