Pittsburgh Tea Party Movement

Folks, the Mississipi race is closer than earlier reported.  Updates/corrections from the July 4th email are shown in red with links.  All else is the same.

The final outcome of Mississippi's Republican primary for the U.S. senate between U.S. Senator Thad Cochran and Mississippi Senator Chris McDaniel has ramifications for voter integrity and the entire country.

After serving 36 years in the U.S. Senate, Thad Cochran lost his initial 2014 primary to Tea Party candidate Mississippi Senator Chris McDaniel by 1,386.  In a subsequent runoff on June 24, Cochran won by nearly 6800 votes, with over 38,000 new votes predominately from black voters who vote overwhelmingly democrat. Read this article with regression analysis of the votes. (Democrats are allowed to vote in the Republican primary if they haven't voted in the Democrat primary in Mississippi.) Since the runoff, McDaniel has found 5,000 voting irregularities so far.Read this.

Through a political action group, Citizens for Progress, former Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour appears to have used dirty campaigning, race baiting, anti-tea party radio advertising to get out the African Americans votes for Cochran.
Please listen to this.  One group promoting Cochran in Mississippi passed out flyers stating "The Tea Party intends to prevent you from voting.  If challenged demand your right to vote".  Read here.

Baptist Reverend Steve Fielder claims the Cochran campaign illegally paid thousands of dollars to the black community for votes, paying $15 for each vote.  Here are details.
Black Democrats are now looking to Cochran for  paybacks. Read this.

True the Vote is looking for help in finding illegal votes and double votes.  Helpers would be reviewing precinct data which is labor intensive.  They have already found 4000 illegal votes.  If you are able to go to Mississippi from Sunday through Thursday, please let me know by return email and I will give you contact information for more details.  If you cannot help but would like to contribute to their cause, please click here.

Connecting some dots.... Haley Barbour was the speaker at the Pennsylvania State Committee meeting dinner several months ago in Harrisburg.  During his speech, Barbour disparaged the tea party.  While more than 20% of the State Committee members are tea partiers, no apologies were made by Pennsylvania Republican leadership following Mr. Barbour's remarks.
