A new web-based group called Nomad PHP, presentations look to be monthly and cost $10 for live or downloadable video. Yet another place where we can learn new things to enhance our skills by attending talks we normally wouldn't be able to. Tonight is the first presentation, look below for more information, or go check out the Nomad PHP Website.

From their website:

Nomad PHP is not designed to replace participating in your local PHP User Group. It is no substitute for going to your regular meetings, networking with your local peers, and being an active part of your local PHP community. However, if you can't make it to your local meetings, or there are no local meetings, we want to give you a (virtual) place to call home.

  • We meet on-line, so you can participate wherever you are
  • We will have well known as well as brand new speakers
  • You get access to the recordings to review later
