Project management is challenging enough, but in the age of health care reform, project managers face new hurdles that come with rigorous deadlines. Various perspectives need to be considered in the planning, executing and controlling phases, where communication, stakeholder, scope, change, and risk management are key to executing a successful project. Case studies will be discussed to better understand approaches, opportunities for improvement, and impacts on various stakeholders in the health care sector.

Bonnie specializes in strategic and operational planning for health care clients at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). She works with the Health Industries, Public Sector and Health Research Institute practices on stakeholder opportunities and challenges, especially those pertaining to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the Affordable Care Act. Bonnie enjoys meeting others working in health care and helped organize a joint health care networking event with PMIWDC and HIMSS-NCA

About the Reston Luncheon»
Each month, Nicholas Hartigan and Chris Talmont, the Co-Chairs of the PMIWDC Reston Luncheon committee, strive to bring you interesting and informative speakers from a wide range of professions. They present these speakers to you in a casual restaurant setting that allows you to network with other professionals of the PMI.
