Hi Everyone, I was really looking forward to this meetup tonight, but I am very sick and unable to be out of bed for two hours straight. I don't want to be a distraction so I will be missing meeting people. I will definitely come to the next one. I am looking forward to it. With apologies for my absence,

Tonight, I will be giving a presentation on "The Hidden Creeks and Streams of Washington DC"
One of my objectives for this talk is to "Arrange pre-meeting communications via e-mail" to provide you with some information in advance of the technical presentation.

If you have the time and the inclination, please take a minute to review these two short articles. I hope you find them interesting.

I'll say, it's best to ignore the camera and focus attention on the interviewer or audience. When it's a call for action to the listener at home look into the camera.

We'll be rehearsing at this meeting for the video session later in the month! Any thoughts about what % of the time we should look directly at the camera? Just trying to make it look natural... this club is a terrific place to try stuff out!!
