MAIN SIGN-UP Karoake and Crepes in Kingston September 21st

Sail to the Port of Kingston for karaoke and crepes! This event has turned into a ritual with us local sailors and is great fun with usually a pretty big turn out regardless of if sometimes we sing a little off key.

*Attention update! We are trying something new with this Karaoke event! We have chosen a "Saturday Night Fever" theme and are giving a prize to the best dressed, so bring it on!! Get down tonight..

*Boats will start arriving in Kingston at around 5:00 for a little informal Pot luck BBQ on the docks.

*The singing will be done Saturday night at the Main Street Ale House http://www.kingstonalehouse.com/ The karaoke starts at 9:00 pm but would suggest to get there earlier to start laying claim to some tables.

*Meet for crepes on Sunday morning at J Aimes Les Crepes http://local.yahoo.com/details?id=22216839&stx=crepes&csz=Kingston+WA

*Crew- "This is the Main Sign-Up list for Kingston and Crepes" Get on the waiting list and participating boats will pull crew from there. If you have time restraints that limit you from sailing over you can take the Edmonds ferry over to Kingston and stay at the Blue Water Inn which is just a short walk from the ferry and event, there are also other lodging choices.

*Note: If you are willing to arrange lodging in Kingston but want to sail to and back from Kingston feel free to make a comment saying so or to ask one of the boats going to the event for a ride because some of our boats have plenty of room for extra day crew.

*Skippers- Create you own post for the event with showing just yourself as "1 going" with no waiting list. Please state requirements and a rough itinerary on your post. Once you have contacted and selected crew pull them off of the main list as "not going" and load them on your post "as going". Add yourself to the main event list as going. Have moorage on hold with The Port Of Kingston until Saturday the 14th so contact them as soon as possible to reserve your slip. http://www.portofkingston.org/

*Great times ahead!

Just heard from Brad Hanson, from NOAA, that J pod and lots of L pod orcas are spread out east to west across Puget Sound right now, about even with south Bainbridge Island and Elliot Bay. Conditions are great (for now) and many IDs are being made.

Ok guys, The orcas were spotted off of Edmonds, watch for them!!!

    Hi Everybody!

I've reserved my slip Kingston, and now need some crew. I sent out a few invites a couple days ago, but only received one response. I have berths for two more people. Please review my post here:

If you are interested just reply to this post. I'll take the first two to respond. Also, if anyone is planning on staying in the hotel and still needs a ride just let me know.

I feel your pain Justin, I too sent out invite and no response in time , so now there's no slips so WINDSWEPTS OUT. I'll work on my boat instead.

Hey Jenn, if you get ahold of them grab one for me too, will you? I'll try myself and check if you've already reserved for you and Dave. If not, I'll get yours. And Shell, what about you? Same deal?

Waiting list: We just worked out a bargain with the Blue Water Inn "you can rent a room for $45 on Saturday night" If you make sleeping arrangements other than on a boat, you can sail there with us. Just offering this with effort to include everyone who wants to go.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
