NEW MEMBERS Afternoon Sail on SV Windswept Sat, Nov. 16th 11:30am

New Members, here's your chance to get your feet wet (so to speak and not literally). I plan to leave the dock around noon so please get here by 11:30am. When you RSVP you will be asked questions like; whats your contact info(only organizers can see this for your privacy), what kind of experience you have so I wont have to look everyone up individually. I also plan to return sometime between 3-4pm so if your short on time please DO NOT sign up and expect to cut everyone's sail time short for your schedule. I prefer to take just the new members that have only been out a couple times or less, so I'll pick from my waitlist and you'll know you were picked when you recieve a "Going Notice" in your E-Mail so keep an eye out.

Bring snacks or even something to throw on the BBQ but make sure you bring enough to share. Bring refreshments of your choosing and your cameras.Dress for the cooler temps on the water even though it's rumored to be a balmy 52* Saturday.

CREW Etiquette : If you need to cancel, please try to do so well in advance to give me a chance to invite someone else from the wait list.

Windswept is a heavy displacement sea kindly ride ready for whatever the weather gods throw our way. I do have a cockpit enclosure to keep us out of the harsh environment if needed. Accommodations available are a full size galley, refrigeration, oven with three burner stove, two heads, Large v-birth and two settee's and plenty of standup room.

As usual, magical day. So glad to be back, and included.

What a great day for a sail, started with calm breeze and great snacks while under sail. Winds picked up for a nice cruise across the Sound. Crew had a fun time learning the ropes from sail trim and fender tying to securing the boat to the dock and proper flaking of the main sail. Fun group to sail with.

Crew, please try to read the entire post on all events including this one. I've been asked for what time frame we are sailing and what my phone number is in case a person wants to contact me. I ALWAYS provide phone number usually just below my location, and the time frame of most events are usually posted in the skippers announcement of an event.
    Thank you
