Discussion: Make The Most of NOW facilitated by Joshua Duman

POETs LA @ Glendale

Invites You To Attend

Facilitated by Joshua Duman

We will be exploring the “NOW”. Where is it? How do you get there? How long does it take? Through group discussion and interactive exercises we will hone in our skills of living in the “NOW”. We will identify warning signs (Red Flags) that let you know when you are not in the “NOW”.  By using these exercises and techniques in your daily lives you will begin to break down the illusion producing mechanisms and awaken to the “NOW”.

Please wear comfortable clothes. We will be moving for some of the exercises. I also recommend taking our shoes off. If you feel you will want socks or anything else to make your experience more enjoyable please feel free to bring with you. For the sake of saving paper I will not be printing up any pages for taking home. I recommend bringing a pen and paper. Remember your water bottles. Staying hydrated is important especially “NOW”.

Joshua Duman

POETs Member and Facilitator

Joshua Duman was born in Albuquerque New Mexico and raised in California. He was eight years old when he had a dream of building sets for the movies. Little did he know that this was the lesson that was going to prove to him that the law of attraction was real. For all of his childhood and teenage years he wished and kept that dream alive. At the age of 23 he had finally made it to the studios. Now at age 34 he finds himself in a bit of a pickle. With the need to live in a more sustainable world, building sets that will end up in the land fill is not an option.

Joshua had his spiritual awakening about five years ago. Along the way the dream of building sets for a fake world with fake people with fake problems that we all tune in to as reality had faded. He began trying to identify what "reality" is. This has led him to "NOW."

Along the last five years of the journey the paradigm of reality has been shifting. It has become aware to Joshue why it is important to “Be the Change”as Ghandi said, and to do so "NOW". He have been learning to live in the NOW and watching the illusion disappear. It is an ongoing awareness that takes much focus. It is Joshua's desire that by sharing ideas and concepts of the “NOW” with others that it makes it easier for all of us to stay in the “NOW” always. It is the only true reality.

As with all LIGHT Bearer events, please adhere to our POSITIVE RSVP Policy. We only accept RSVPs of YES if you plan on attending. Any RSVPs of NO will be removed.

Congratulations to Josh Duman for being the first LA based POET to step up and facilitate! We are looking forward to more members facilitating future discussions. Thank you to Josh and everyone that attended. It was a good discussion. Josh brought up topics that spurred good conversation. The spirit of respect allowed each person to share they viewpoint, even if the points were different. This is an amazing way for all of us to learn from one another. It was nice to welcome Tommy as a new member. We certainly appreciated his input as well as everyone else's. Roger and Malaea, thank you for hosting. It is always appreciated.

Reminder...Please only RSVP if you will be attending. RSVPing NO causes an influx of uneccessary emails for the Organizer. Thanks for helping to keep administration to a minimum.
