Metaphysics & Applied Spirituality provide our HEART centered community, P.O.E.T.s - People Of Enlightened Thoughts (an affiliate of LIGHT Bearers of the World) a basis to expand the consciousness of humanity.

People of Enlightened Thoughts aka P.O.E.T.s is an affiliate of LIGHT Bearers of the World which is a 501 (c) 3 Non Profit Public Benefit Organization dedicated to the upliftment of humanity. We are a heart centered community that supports one another in love. We are not affiliated with any religious or political organization. Our mission is supported by your donations.

P.O.E.T.s does not own or rent a physical building. We are a true community that meets in private residences or donated spaces, very much the way the early Gnostics did. 

We have been meeting for inspiration & enLIGHTenment since Nov 28, 2006. A discussion is held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month and an Inspirational Movie w/post discussion on the 4th Friday of the month. Events run from 7:15 PM to 9:30 PM PST.

Our current four locations are:

ORANGE COUNTY - Our central heart-quarters - meets the secondTuesday for discussion and the fourth Friday for an Inspirational Movie followed by discussion. Alternate Tuesdays is Words of Wisdom Professional Speakers and FacilitatorsTraining & Certification. Classes, workshops, seminars, retreats, movie nights, socials are co-ordinated via this location. We utilize WORDS of WISDOM Professional Speakers and Facilitators Training as an in house tool to ensure that the quality of our presentations/discussions exceeds your expectations.

SECURITY POLICY: For security and for building community ALL members of POETs/LIGHT Bearers of the World must have a full face photo posted in lieu of an icon. Any members not in compliance will have their RSVPs removed prior to mailing of e-Confirmation. If a member fails to comply after receiving written notification from POETs/LIGHT Bearers, they will be removed from the organization until such time they can rejoin with a full face photo.

 
P.O.E.T.s  is not associated with any religious or political organization. We are truly a transdenominational community were each member is encouraged to explore all information and to develop their own personal spirituality in harmony with their inner guidance. Each person is encouraged to be their own guru as true acceptance is based on the knowledge that we are all divine expressions of the Universal Consciousness.

One out of five people (615,000) in Orange County are at food risk .* Thank you to everyone that resonates with this project and contributes to help our neighbors have nourishment to sustain themselves.

ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO "BE THE CHANGE"

During the months of July, August and September, POETs will be collecting items to send to the Cook Islands along with one of our members, Bruce  Royer. Bruce is fulfilling a long time held dream of volunteering with GLOBAL VOLUNTEERS to teach the children how to read.
