Join us for this fun and creative mini workshop at the studio.
This event is for all levels of photographers. We welcome the "newest of newbies" all the way through to the "Oldest of Professionals". All we ask is that anyone coming is willing to connect, collaborate, and create together with the group.
Everyone always walks away with AMAZING images and a bit more knowledge about the art of photography.
Even if you have never worked with studio lighting before, we'd love you to join us. Everything, all lighting and camera settings, is always explained so that everyone attending has an opportunity to capture images to add to their portfolios.
We will be working with a several different lighting techniques and a few different models. My goal is always to allow you to not only have an understand of the lighting scenarios but also a chance to ask questions in order to recreate the same lighting effects on your own.
We will work with everything from soft glamour high key lighting to more dramatic lighting set-ups. Please find a few example of images other PPG members have created during previous lighting workshops:
Our studio events are always very limited in the number of RSVPs, so don't wait and save your spot now before they are all gone.
We use the Aputure transceivers in our events. I DO have many extras for sharing (my transceivers work with Nikon and Canon cameras only) but you may purchase one of your own by following one of the links below. A set of these will also fire your flash off camera and work as a remote shutter release and they cost around $70 for a set of 2.

I hope to see you there...
P.S. Anyone joining the event is welcome to join us afterwards as well for lunch at our favorite Sushi place just down the road a bit
P.S.S. - the events going on this last weekend of April will be the last for events happening at Studio on Main Street in Fort Mill. I have moved to Charleston, SC... I will come back to Charlotte on occasions to see friends and family, and will most likely still organize a few events now and again, but this will be our last chance to get together at the Fort Mill Studio.
