Do you love photographing people? 

If you like photographing weddings, events, sports, seniors, families, children, babies, or even pets (yes, they are people too!), then you have found the right group.  We welcome all skill levels of photography, and we hope that you will join us for our next event.  

Each month we have one regular meet & greet  scheduled, where we can simply network and meet other like-minded photographers.  We discuss at these meetings what each of you would like to learn more about so that our regular meetups can be tailored more to your needs.  Often times we have the monthly meet and greet in a restaurant or other casual setting, which encourages more interaction amongst each other. You will find many friendships have formed within our group and we are always excited to welcome more.

We also have more structured meetups that involve training in the areas of posing, lighting, equipment, software, photoshop, marketing & sales (If you wish to make a little money with your photography).  Most of our get-togethers involve "live" models, sometimes professional models and sometimes not. 

Our mission is simple.  We wish to provide real opportunities to photograph, with real people, at an affordable rate, so anyone wishing to learning more about portrait photography has the availability to do so. The prices of our meetups are directly related the the amount of work the organizers must put into creating them; such as lining up models, locations, make-up artists, costumes and/or props. Generally the fees for our meetups cost between $5 to $50.

 Some of our meetups are simply fun "get-togethers", where we can talk a little "shop". Not all of our meetups are structured as classes or workshops. We have many members who just want to get together with a model and practice or"mastermind" with other photographers. This is why we say all levels are welcome... everyone shares and helps each other even in our more casual meetup settings.

Sharing ideas and creativity with each other is encouraged and we feel each photographer brings a different artistic eye to our meetups.

We will also be involved in charities throughout the year and we are always looking for ways to give back to our community. I hope you will consider participating in these events too.  They are often the most fun! 

There is no competition within our group, so please leave your egos behind and come ready to learn, give, and enjoy.  There are no "trade secrets" that we must keep hidden, therefore we encourage supporting one another and being open with your knowledge and photography skills as well.
