Basic Urban Survival and Disaster Preparations Seminar
7-Days at Home Method
The goal is to provide knowledge for both individuals and groups to survive and thrive before, during and after a major disaster. Lessons Not about “Bush craft” or “wilderness survival.” James became aware of how cities globally become easily shutdown because of both man-made and natural disruptions. Frustrated by how 99% of survival information focuses on what James terms “Wild World Survival.” Bush craft and wilderness survival define “Wild World Survival.” The killer APP for “Wild World Survival” is found in fire making. How do you rub two sticks together to light a light bulb? No one tells you how to survive and sustain yourself in the city after catastrophic local or global events.
This is NOT doomsday lecture, you will PRACTICAL steps that can save your life and keep you comfortable after an disaster event.
What Others have said About Prepping In The City Learning Events?
What a great workshop! I learned quite a bit even though I've been putting a lot of time into thinking about and researching different methods and products for disaster preparedness. I really hadn't thought about getting myself out of a subway so that part of the discussion was extremely helpful. All in all, a really solid show. :)
A ton of great information from a very knowledgable expert on the subject.
The information was good but I would have liked more.
Very informative & good introduction to survival prep. I'm looking forward to future meetups and/or telephone seminars.
This was my first event with this group, and I can tell you that Merlin knows his stuff. This wasn't bs like much on the 'non-reality' TV shows out there. While I enjoy those shows, they are entertainment. This was information. I look forward to learning more.
I felt the information presented was widely researched and well thought out and prioritized. I very much appreciated the opportunity to attend this meetup.
