The last meeting we saw a short video on shutter priority. We agreed this would be a great assignment for the month. Take some pictures at different shutter speeds, when you upload them if you know the settings please put them in the comments. 4 per person would be the max. We are doing things a little different now, please upload your pictures we are going to discuss directly into this Meetup If you need help doing this feel free to email myself, Gary or Mike for help. It is easier to have all the pictures in one place when we are ready to review them. Again this is not mandatory so please come to the meeting even if you have no pictures to share. Even if you can’t make this Meetup please feel free to share pics.
This meeting will be at Simon’s house and there is plenty of seating and he has no animals. He will be discussing and showing the Three Basic Elements of Photography (Aperture, Shutter, ISO) This is interactive so please bring your camera.
I am asking again please schedule Meetup for different events related to photography. Anyone can create one and I would love some more diverse events in our group. It is our group and I would love everyone involved if they can.
We are trying to have a set agenda so we can be more productive in our regular monthly meeting.
1) Welcome and introductions
2) review of photos from photo shoots or assignments
3) 15 minute education video presentation
4) video discussion and questions
5) Simon’s presentation on the 3 basic elements of photography
We are creating an ongoing list for possible topics either video, or someone presenting. Please let myself, Gary or Mike know about any topics you want learn about or if you have something you are passionate about and want to share with everyone.
