Come have fun learning to identify the major constellations of the autumn night sky and marvel at the vastness of the cosmos as we travel aboard spaceship Earth. The ancient myths and stories that gave the constellations their names will be shared while we watch as the first stars become visible then continue star-gazing until the whole night sky is filled. The proximity to the New Moon will give us optimum star-gazing conditions. We may even get to see some meteors streak across the sky! In addition to star gazing, we’ll also be listening to the sounds made by the creatures of the night which we’ll be able to view with special Night Vision Binoculars.
Also open to youth (age 12-17) with parent attendance.
