OOPs! I just have a habit of saying yes to anything you organize Susan! However I am going to attend the Vanderbilt Elder Memory workshop Saturday! Perhaps I can learn to keep my appointments better! Keep up the great work Susan! We will get together on the next one! Rowland
Thanks for the kind greeting, Sue. I was thinking that doing both the park and Transition on the same day would be too much. How about Friday evening, Sept 7? Claudia and I will be staying with Eric and Beth, and I will do my talk no charge for Transition. Doug
Hi Sue, hope to see you at the next potluck~

Susan. think you will find this info helpful and inspiring toward in some transiton concepts. jck
Welcome to the coop, Susan. Ask any questions you may think of regarding backyard chickens, and groups. I started with a pair of rescued birds from a woman who does pig and dog rescues (complicated story) a few years ago, and evolved into the regional assistant organizer for this group. Chickens are fun, easy to keep, good pets, and wonderful environmental buddies. Plus, few pets will give you breakfast.
We look forward to learning together!
Susan, welcome to the Provident Living & Self-Reliance Group.
Absolutely I'd love to help out. I think weekend sessions on a regular basis I can do. Hopefully this kind of thing can strengthen community ties and spread the self-reliant knowledge we lost but will need again when the times get tougher in the years ahead. I look forward to meeting you too!
Hi Susan, I recently joined Transition Nashville but have been following sustainability for a while now. I'm really interested in the Great American Reskilling. I'd like to plan like weekly events at Centennial Park to cultivate people's sustainability skills like permaculture, soap-making, distillery, etc. Useful skills for post-peak oil. Has something like this been tried before? Thanks!
Hey there Susan! I would love to be an active participant in this movement, and I look forward to attending the next meeting, if my schedule permits, and to meeting you as well! Thanks so much for your greeting. See you soon!
