Ziplining in Wrightwood, California

Let's go Ziplining in Wrightwood, California. At Navitat, they do tree-based adventure and only tree-based adventure. It’s their passion, their purpose, and their expertise. While other adventure providers are getting in on the zipline trend because it’s the “hot” thing to do, Navitat was born to take you into the trees.

They believe that experiencing the outdoors—and particularly trees—can be a thrilling, educational and ultimately inspiring experience.

Enjoy the safety and security of knowing you’re ziplining with professionals focused on tree-based adventure, and see what a truly well-rounded outdoor adventure is all about!

8 ziplines – ranging from 200 to 1500 feet in length – fly as high as 300 feet above the forest floor!
NEW for 2013! – finish the tour racing down side-by-side dual ziplines!
2 rappels – get a close-up feel for just how big ponderosa pines can grow as you travel from platform to platform
4 bridges – slow down and take in the sights from a truly unique perspective
3 short hikes – time on the ground allows for water breaks and further forest exploration a fully guided tour with one guide for every 4 participants!

This is a 3.5 hour tour and you must adhere to the participant requirements stated above and what is outlined by Navitat.  The price will be $109.00/person for groups up to 7 people.  If we get 8 or more people from our meetup group, we receive a 10% discount off the $109.00.

Also, I will need to pay NAVITAT up front to book our time for Friday, June 7th.  Therefore, you will remain on the Wait list until I receive your payment of $109.00 upfront.  I will then move you to the RSVP list.  Also, if we get 8 people, you will receive the discounted amount back, $10.90.

If you make the RSVP list and decide to cancel, you have 96 hours or more in advance of the tour time to cancel to receive a 100% refund.  Though the NAVITAT site says 72 hours to cancel in advance of the tour time, I will set the cancellation time out longer for an individual to be sure we do not miss the cut-off time to be eligible for a refund.

    Robert,
What is the plan for lunch? Should we bring something or will we be going to lunch after the activity?

I'm open to having lunch up there. There's a couple of nice Mexican restaurants we can decide on where we can also enjoy a margarita or two.

I was curious to know whether I would be able to carry my backpack with water on the tour, so I called to ask... It is not possible to carry a backpack, but they provide water at two points along the tour. FYI...

That's correct Angela! There will be water stations in a couple areas. Also, cel phones, sunglasses, wallets, purses, etc are highly suggested to be left in the car. They've had things fall to the ground and it's a pretty vast and rugged area to go back to fine lost items. If you have sunglass straps, I highly suggest you use them. They also sell them there. If you bring a camera, be sure it has a wrist cord so it could be tied to your zipline harness.

If everyone follows through with the payment, we'll have enough people to fill two time slots, 9:40a and 10:00a.. Each time slot has a eight person allowance. I will cap this meetup activity off at 16 people. As far as collecting the money, please do so at one of the upcoming meetup activities I will be attending in the next couple of weeks with this group. If this will not be possible, email me and we'll make arrangements to meet. The sooner we get this taken care of, the sooner we can book our date and times....Thanks!

Hi Robert I know is kind of late but I have 2 friends that would like to attend if you still have place, please let me know.... Thankyou very much :)

Miriam, I believe there are three spots available with the 9:40a group. They will need to go to the website directly to sign up. However, if they want the 10% discount, call Navitad directly and mention they are with Robert's group. If there's anything else i can help with, let me know.

Today I was able to book five additional people for the 9:40a ziplining slot. So Vinay, Livia, John, Debbie and Miriam, you're now officially booked......Congratulations! Two things I want to let you know, please arrive at least 20minutes early to your zipline time and you must wear close toe shoes. Other things you need aware of can be found through the following link: http://www.navitat.com/wrightwood-ca/tour-info/participant-requirements .......Also, fill out the participant form and bring to the activity. Overall, there are three spots remaining in the 9:40a slot. However, as of today, those I haven't received money from yet and want to go, you must book your own spot by calling or going to the Navitad website. I'm no longer handling this part of the activity. If you have any questions, let me know.....Robert.

Update: I booked the 10a slot. So, Jerry, Monja, Julie, Giesla, Rochelle, Angela, and, Lori, you guys are officially booked for the zipline tour...Woo, Hoo! I'll get the discount difference to you this week. Also, there are eight spots still available for the 9:40a.. So get your money to me as soon as possible, May10th is my cut-off time.

Hi Robert i can't pay until may 1, will it be to late?

Miriam, at this point, the payment can be received may1. however, this may change depending on how many people give me money between now and may 1st. I'm going to book the next group (9:40a slot) as soon as I get payments from the next group of eight. If I don't receive payments by may10th to complete the second group of eight, I'm going to book the number I have at that point in time. Also, the first group (10:00a) will be booked this Monday.

Okay, I have collected $ from eight people to form the first group (Jerry, Angela, Monja, Julie-+1, Rochelle, Lori and myself). This will be the 10am group. Anymore $ I receive will form the 9:40a group. A twenty minute difference between the two groups. Also, you can mix groups if you prefer to be in another group. But the folks in the 10a slot will have first say whether they want to give up their spot for a 9:40a slot and vise versa for those in the 9:40a slot. I will keep myself in the 10a slot. We can figure this out at Wrightwood. The 9:40a slot will only have eight spots. So once I receive $ from the eight more people, I'm closing off the Attendee list giving us 16 people total for this meetup activity. Also, since we have eight people paid, we will get the 10% discount. Therefore, the remaining folks who will be paying, the amount will be $98.10. I will refund the difference ($10.90) to the first eight people who paid me. Have a great rest of the week,
    Robert

Thanks to everyone who were able to get the payment to me. There are two spots available for the 10a time slot. And if we get more than eight people, we'll begin filling up a 9:40a time slot. And again, you can get the $ to me at one of the upcoming meetup activities. If it is a problem getting to an upcoming activity, shoot me an email to make other arrangements....Thanks!
