This is a tough six-mile (three miles each direction) hike originating in the Andreas Canyon parking area, with an elevation gain of over 2,400' (i.e. very steep). Indian Canyons rates this hike as "strenuous". This trail and the Tungsten mine were built by Jim Maynard during World War II. Fabulous views! Entry fee for Indian Canyons is $9 per person.
