Hike up via the Register Ridge Trail and return via the Register Ridge Trail.

We will be hiking the Register Ridge Trail, this route starts from the Ski Hut trail just around the bend from the sign in register. It climbs over 2,600' in about 1.5 miles (1,733' average gain per mile) and intersects with the Devil's Backbone trail on the south face of Mt. Harwood. This route provides amazing scenery and much less traffic than other routes up Mt. Baldy.
We will descend Via the Register Ridge Trail to Manker Flats parking lot.
You should have done a hike over 12 miles, 3000'+ elevation gain and peaking above 10,000 feet within 30 days to be successful on this hike. Please do not overestimate your ability as you could endanger the safety of the group.
An Adventure Pass is needed when parking at Manker Flats, available at most sporting goods stores and ranger station.
