Live Walkers Message Board › FYI - Help Restore the San Bernardino National Forest
|A former member||
If you went on the Aztec Falls hike you got to see first-hand the destruction of forest fires from recent years. Where there used to be a forest there is a moon-scape with charred, fallen and branchless trunks of dead trees. There is a wonderful opportunity for you to volunteer to help replant the forest. Interested volunteers can go to the website below to for more information. All the Saturdays and Sundays in April are open for this important project. It's a great way to combine your love of hiking with your love of the forest.
