The Professionally Speaking Singles Toastmasters (PSST) is one of the most distinguished Toastmasters groups in the Houston metropolitan area. We have earned the designation "Distinguished Club" continuously since 2003. We have met continuously since we chartered the club in 1990. We decided to create a website through Meetup.com in order to promote our group and to coordinate social activities.
We currently have approximately 50 members that meet every Monday night to work on our public speaking. But, we are also a singles social club and organize activities such as movies, museums, festival outings, murder mysteries, and parties throughout the year.
Guests are always welcome! Not only at our meetings but at our social events as well.
We meet every Monday night at 7:00 pm at the Emerson Unitarian Universalist Church at 1900 Bering Drive in the Houston Galleria area (77057). Please drive to the rear of the Emerson parking lot. We now normally meet in Westwood Hall which is behind the classrooms; park on the North side of the parking lot for Westwood and the South side if our calendar says we are meeting in the Delaney classroom. Click this link for help in our location. http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/b/5/7/e/600_129406462.jpeg
After every Monday night meeting, PSST members and guests go out for food, drinks, and conversation.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE:Most of our active members do NOT visit this Meetup Group site every week to RSVP "YES" even though they will attend. We meet almost every single Monday evening all year, (see our club calendar for the few Mondays that we do not meet). Don't let the small number of RSVP's fool you, and don't be afraid to visit !! We usually have around 35 members AND at least 10 guests at each meeting! For the latest information on our club and the club calendar please visit our web site at:
