Dwelling [Philosophy Sessions]: What's Your Charisma?

We find ourselves drawn to certain stars, world leaders, and people who captivate us by their magnanimous deeds. Does charisma belong to just these people, or can you have it too? What is charisma? Is it a natural gift people are born with, or can it be developed and enhanced? What are the building blocks of charisma? Do you ever wonder what you have that draws others to you, and what kind of people you're drawn to? If you're ready to discover how others see you and what qualities you have to offer, join us in this Philosophy Session on Charisma to become aware of what makes you truly charismatic, and begin to step into your natural confidence around others.

Thanks for sharing, Kakani. Yes, it can be found online. The full title is "The Dark Charisma of Adolf Hitler: Leading Millions into the Abyss". It is also a book written by Laurence Rees. The ability to attract and influence can wield both positive and negative effects. This is a clear instance of the latter, where Hitler's hatred and prejudice from being an oddball and his inability to forge intimate relationships resonated with thousands who were humiliated by the terms of the Versailles treaty. His ability to connect with people this way was deemed as "charismatic". In the Wall Street Crash of 1929 when the banks crashed, Hitler was seen to be the person who could bring the Nazis salvation. What are your thoughts about this kind of charisma?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
