Monthly Meeting of Philadelphia Tea Party Patriots-Lower Bucks

How do you feel about your 2nd Amendment rights?

This is a HOT topic and it will be discussed at this meeting.

Rob and Bill, along wth many of our group, attended the meeting at the Warminster VFW on Monday, January 28 presented by the Gun Owners of Bucks County. Come and hear what was dscussed at the meeting. Hear cmments from many who attended.

On Saturday, Feb 2, many of local folks wil be heading to Washington, DC to protest gun rights. THIS IS NOT A SANCTIONED TEA PARTY PATRIOTS event. People are going as individuals who are concerned about their 2nd Amendment rights.

Local PA State Representatiives have been invited to speak to our group. As of this date, awaiting confirmation.

The group was smaller than usual but the discussion was lively. Bill O'Neill spoke on Agenda 21 and has loads of info. Also enjoye hearing what was happening in other communities The gun control issue is a hot topic. We need to hear from Congressman Fitzpatrick on how he plans he is going to voting on hot issues. Will there be a town hall?

Yes! I believe Rob's version of term limits does not work (i.e. the idiots who keep putting Pelosi in office). If we had term limits, members of congress might actually get something done. Currently I think they get nothing done because if they did, what would they have to run on in the next election. I've also posed the question... why are senators terms 6 years and congress only 2? How can a congressman get anything done when he has to spend his whole second year campaigning for the next term. I think 8 years is enough for a president and enough for a congressman and a senator.

That should read: They'd have nothing to run on in the next election.
