A Day of Peace, Love, & Unity for the Cannabis COMmUNITY!!!
We're at it again, we'll be "Outside" this event, gathering signatures from registered voters. This is a 3 day event, February 16/17/18 (Sat/Sun/Mon. Respectively) to keep an accurate count of volunteer, each day will be set as its own event.
Who: People United for Medical Marijuana - South FL Chapter
What: Collecting Signatures for "The Peoples Initiative"
Where: Coconut Grove Art Fair, Main Highway and McFarlane Rd *we are working on a map on the place we plan to be located, once finished, we'll post it here.
When: Saturday 16 February[masked] AM – 6 PM (sometimes later)
Just like last year we'll be jamming to the music, enjoying the public space/art/people, while having a great time, and adding to the petition count. Please be sure to wear clothes according to the weather (for the day/year/season), comfortable shoes, and bring: Water, food (or money to get something to eat), and every friend you have to enjoy the day!!!
Petitioning supplies to bring with you:
1) clipboards (at least 5, more if you can)
2) petitions (print as many as you can)
3) pens [blue]
4) Messenger bag or back pack to carry your supplies

There will be supplies there, but everything handed out will be assigned and returned back.
It's easy to get there by public transportation (check the Metro-Rail for Miami-Dade)
We'll be stationed throughout the outside of the venue, you can't miss us. Please be sure to place this number into your cell phone just in case:[masked]-1039. If you're new to petitioning, come on out, we'll have you trained well in under 9 minutes.
