North Hollywood Coed Basketball

  • March 12 · 8:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

We have 1 court in the North Valley High Gym for two hours so we can accommodate up to 15 players; 5 on 5 with a team rotating in.

PLEASE BRING A DARK (Black, Blue, Orange, Purple) SHIRT AND A WHITE (solid white) SHIRT; YOU WILL NEED BOTH . . . . Gray is NOT White OR Dark.

There are no set teams; the game organizer will divide those in attendance into separate teams with the goal of having the teams of roughly equal ability.

Shoot around and warm-up from 8:00 pm to about 8:15 pm, then the organizer will break everyone into teams.

Each game lasts 15 minutes with a minute or two break in-between so each player will be able to get in 60 minutes of playing time. Our goal is to get three teams rotating on the court.

If you are a new member and would like to try this game out as your free game, please e-mail Richard or Scott and they will put you on the RSVP IF the game is not already full.

We're looking for people who like to compete but do not go overboard about it. If you're the type of player who harps on other players inadequacies or has a negative attitude if the game doesn't go your way or you just generally think you're God's gift to Basketball, you may want to join a league and pass us by.

We want positive people who enjoy playing with other likeminded individuals.

If you haven't had much experienced playing Basketball or you haven't played in a very long time, you are more than welcome to join us. All we ask is that you play hard and give it 100%; we value effort more than ability.

The Waiting List is open for those who wish to put their names on the list. Please be aware, however, that at this point if an opening occurs, you will not be automatically placed on the RSVP List. Instead an e-mail will be sent to all on the waiting list to let them know they can RSVP for the spot if they wish. At that point you will have to RSVP AND Pay online at the same time, however, once there is a spot available, it is open to everyone; being on the waiting list just gives you a heads up. Please do not e-mail or leave comments asking to be placed on the RSVP List as I will not be available for the rest of the day. If you are a new member who wants to use their free game, I'm sorry but we won't be able to accommodate you at this point.

A reminder for whenever anybody is bringing a +1 to let us know ASAP if your plus one isn't coming. That way we can try to get someone from the waiting list to take their spot and we can have full teams. If not we'll be running with uneven numbers which is sometimes difficult to try and even out over the course of the night. Thanks.

Your organizer's refund policy for North Hollywood Coed Basketball

Refunds offered if:

  • the Meetup is cancelled
  • the Meetup is rescheduled
  • you can cancel at least 0 day(s) before the Meetup

Additional notes: Any cancellation within 3 hours of a FULL EVENT will only be refunded if that spot is taken by another member within that 3 hour period. You need to take yourself off the RSVP List; simply placing a comment on the game page or e-mail is not enough.

Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.
