Hollywood Coed Indoor Soccer

NEW TIME!! THE START TIME IS MOVING UP 30 MINUTES EARLIER TO 8:00 PM!!

We have the gym from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm during which time we have four teams rotating so that each team plays 4 ten minutes games/40 minutes total. YOU NEED TO BRING A DARK (Black, Blue, Orange, Purple, Red) SHIRT AND A WHITE (solid White) SHIRT. . . . . . . GRAY is NOT White OR Dark.

We’ll be forming teams with 5 players each. The goals are standard 4 x 6 so whoever plays goalie cannot use his/her hands to impede the ball from going into the goal but can use their hands to protect their face or “private parts”. Goalies rotate every 5 minutes until everyone has played goalie, then the rotation starts all over again.

There are no set teams; the game organizer divides the players into groups in an attempt to create roughly equal teams.

We welcome anyone over 18, both men and women; whether you're experienced or new to the game. All we ask is that you give it 100%; we value effort over ability.

Call your own fouls and respect the call if someone calls a foul on you. We call all hand balls, intentional or not, so a hand ball stops play and no slide tackling.

If there are any disputes, the game organizer has the final say, period. We're looking for people who like to compete but do not go overboard about it.

If you're the type of player who harps on other players inadequacies or has a negative attitude if the game doesn't go your way or you just generally think you're God's gift to Soccer, you may want to join a league and pass us by.

We want positive people who enjoy playing with other likeminded individuals.

hey scott you changed my status to NOt going, even i RSVP couple of days ago....any reason why?

I sent you and two other new members an e-mail yesterday asking to confirm that you are playing tonight and sent a followup earlier today. The game has been full for a couple of days and new members who don't respond to the e-mail never show up so you dropped when we didn't get an e-mail reply by 3 pm. I'll put you back on the list but you need to check your spam folder; E-mail communication is VERY IMPORTANT with our group so you need to make sure you are getting our e-mails.

Any shoes ok unless they stain?

    • Scott

If you've played with these shoes before and they haven't left marks then you'll be okay. I re-sent the e-mail to you. You should be receiving it through the e-mail address you signed up with on Meetup. Sometimes members used an e-mail different than the one they normally used in their everyday online activity and forget to check that one. If you still haven't gotten anything, please e-mail me through my PUG Group E-mail link; e-mail communication is VERY IMPORTANT in this group and we need to make sure we can get a hold of you especially if you are on a waiting list and need to be notified of an opening for an Event.
