North Hollywood Coed Outdoor Soccer

Bring your cleats and a DARK (black, blue, red, orange) and WHITE (solid white) SHIRT; Gray is NOT White OR Black. This pitch is a grass field and has stadium lighting that covers the whole field which we have from 8 pm to 10 pm.

Since this is a new location we will restrict the RSVPs to 24 and one big game tonight but if the demand is the same as we had in Hollywood, in the future we will have two smaller games of 8 on 8, side by side, going the width of the field, with 6 X 12 goals, so that players can get more touches during play.

There are no set teams; the game organizer divides the players into four groups in an attempt to create roughly equal teams. Input from players in achieving this goal is encouraged. We welcome anyone over 18, both men and women; whether you're experienced or new to the game. All we ask is that you give it 100%; we value effort over ability.

We play two 45 minute games and the winners and losers of the first game play each other in the second game.

There is no slide tackling, call your own fouls and respect the call if someone calls a foul on you. In situations where the ball may be going out of bounds, it must be obvious; any doubt and the call will go to the offense.

Gentleman's offside; if someone is a foot or two ahead of you, that's not considered offside, what we don't want is someone cherry picking next to the goal.

Also, we call all hand balls, intentional or not, so a hand ball stops play. If there are any disputes, the event host has the final say, period.

We rotate goalies so that everyone plays it once unless we have someone who wants to play goalie for an entire game. Goalie gloves are available if you wish to use a pair while playing goalie.

A goalie may slide in an attempt to stop a shot so it’s up to the offensive player to avoid contact.

We're looking for people who like to compete but do not go overboard about it. If you're the type of player who harps on other players inadequacies or has a negative attitude if the game doesn't go your way or you just generally think you're God's gift to Soccer, you may want to join a league and pass us by.

We want positive people who enjoy playing with other like-minded individuals.

Hey Guys! I tried to join the Outdoor pickup game on Monday January 7th, in North Hollywood and its saying there is one spot left but it isn't letting me RSVP. If i could just come by and leave you $8 cash that'd be great! See you tomorrow evening. I'll be coming with Luke Monahan.

Okay Guys, we need to be on the same page here. One thing you will learn about PUG is that leaving a comment on the event page or organizer's member page is the absolute WORST way to try and get a hold of an organizer/event host. We just have too many games and members to deal with to read all the comments; I didn't see these comments until now. If there's a problem RSVPing or paying online, you need to E-MAIL THE EVENT HOST/ORGANIZER DIRECTLY. You cannot save a spot or fix a payment problem through a comment; you have to e-mail myself or Richard. As far as Mika is concerned, if you're having a problem paying online I'll take cash tonight but you need to get it fix because as a rule we're not allowed to accept cash at the event site. As to Martin, someone dropped out so I put you on the RSVP list so you’re good to go.
