Dodgeball in Hollywood

We play last man standing games, best of 5. And then shuffle the teams. It is $5 for 80-90 minutes of play.

Rules of Dodgeball:

1. A ball is live until it touches a surface (wall, floor,pole,ceiling).

2. If your skin, clothes, or shoes get hit by a live ball (below the neck when standing) you are out when it touches the ground.

3. If you catch a live ball the thrower is out.

4. Call yourself out when you get hit. - officials will help with rule clarifications but not referee the games.

There seems to be some confusion about our free game policy; all NEW MEMBERS play their first game for free; GUEST have to be paid for online.

While this wasn't that big a deal as we were trying to increase our numbers, Dodgeball has become very busy the last few weeks to the point that we're going to have to cap the number. This means any guest who are not paid for will have to be turned away at the door.

Joining our group takes 5 minutes, so please take the time to do so; it's well worth it. Once you join the Group, all you have to do is e-mail one of the Organizers to have them put you on the RSVP list for your free game. Try it, it won't hurt.
