I lived in NY as a kid, moved to Miami as a teen, left for college to Sarasota and Berkeley, moved back to South Beach because my mom was there alone after my day died, worked doing a number of different things but had always been an artist and writer, and danced for a long time, so I finally went to Grad school at Boston University, lived there a year after graduating, and then lived back in South Beach. It's changed a lot over the years I've lived there. So hedonistic and party party party, and a huge amount of plastic surgery and an enormous Latin population from all over Latin America. But it is also a big city and has a huge amount of people from all over the world coming to visit so it's very interesting in its diversity.
That people look natural and are much more humane. I like the doctors and other healers I work with, I like the meditation community, I like that people are critical of the injustice in the world and many people are doing things about it, and I like the fact that there are a lot of teachers..
I am new to the area. I came here because my brother went to school in the valley and never left and this is totally the opposite of where I've been living.
