Hometown: Washington DC, and the Black Hills, SD

I live next door to West Hills Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (aka WHUUF), in SW Portlandia, and my daughter and her husband live in Salem. My husband is Pagan friendly but thoroughly agnostic, and not much inclined to attend rituals of any stripe, so don't expect to see him unless you come home with me <W>
A Pagan Community with whom to celebrate the quarters and/or cross-quarters, maybe more.
I know a lot of songs and chants, and I'm a fair to middling circle drummer (can follow the experts without being annoying) and a solid, experienced shamanic drummer. Also, I make a killer Atholl Brose at Yuletide.
I love Pagan songs/chants, drumming & runes. My background is eclectic: I studied Hopi & Tewa cultures in N.M. during the '70s, working with shamans in Cuyamungue & San Juan Pueblo. In the '80s, looking for my "Pagan roots," I discovered Wicca & earned my 3rd degree in a Gardnarian coven, eventually starting my own coven as HPS. The more I learned about Wicca's background, however, the more I veered toward reconstructionist Celtic Paganism, and my coven veered with me, becoming a Celtic Pagan circle over the next 12 years. (During this time, I also worked with several Lakota pipe-carriers, studying their traditions and participating in sweat lodges, Sun Dances, etc.) I "retired" in 2007 to move closer to my daughter, who had settled in OR, and joined an Asatru kindred in Olympia,WA. The group was terrific for 3 yrs, til their Gothi moved to the east coast & a white supremacist group took over. I've been mostly solitary since then, occasionally attending CUUPS rituals next door.
Old Pagan Fart and Recovering Cathoholic, Pagan for about 45 years (but who's counting?). I followed my daughter to Oregon seven years ago and got hooked, so I decided to stay.
