Halloween drumming and dancing in Berkeley

Let's gather at the intersection of Pine and Russell in Berkeley, 6pm on Halloween night. Russell street gets blocked off to traffic and hundreds of costumed Halloween revelers of all ages come out to celebrate. We had a great time last year playing for belly dancers and kids of all ages. Bring your own drum and percussion instruments or contact Bruce to borrow one. Free! Fun! Festive!

Alison, thank you so much for providing the Remo bass drum. The best year yet for the under 10-year olds and really tiny bass drummers. And that little girl jumping and dancing for 20 minutes was so sweet!

Sorry we missed you. Will do it again next Halloween. We stopped drumming about 8:45, then a few of us drummed with the Hare Krishna group for a bit. This was the latest in the 15 years I have attended, at least partially due to the warm weather. The teens stayed partying til after 9.
