With Charlotte Startup Weekend 3 around the corner, we wanted to provide Charlotte's entrepreneurial community with a chance to find out whether that event might be for them. We'll begin by having Devin Collins from the Ben Craig Center speak about the Five Ventures / Charlotte Venture Challenge. If their schedule permits, we'll have past winners (and Packard Place tenants) MailVu talk about their experience with the program. We'll then have attendees practice pitching their ideas in front of the group, providing feedback to each person who pitches. A successful pitch at Startup Weekend will need to attract votes, as well as people to work on the idea. It's important to put your best foot forward! Some great ideas weren't selected at the last event. Parking passes, pizza and soda will be available at the event. You can park in the lot at the corner of 3rd and Church and retrieve the pass from inside the venue. We hope to see you there!
